8 oz (250 g) coarsely chopped Sweet Peppers (red, green or yellow)
Serve this Asian chili on cooked rice or rice noodles.
In a large skillet or wok over medium heat cook turkey, onions, garlic, and ginger, stirring constantly to break up meat, until meat is no longer pink.
Add turkey stock, soya sauce, ketchup, hot pepper flakes and beans.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add peppers and cook just until heated through. Serve in bowls.
Suggested Canadian Brewery Pairings
Selected by Thirst for Knowledge Inc.
Unibroue Blanche de Chambly
Big Rock Grasshopper
Muskoka Hefe Weissbier
Okanagan Spring Hefeweizen
These beers are refreshing, thirst quenching and complex. The spicy notes (cloves) of the beer will complement the spice in the chili, while the beer’s soft citrus will cut through the heat of the chili.
