Before serving, sprinkle with paprika and if desired, garnish with green or red pepper, parsley, or green onions.
  1. Remove skin from turkey and discard.
  2. Place turkey and onions in a large, heavy saucepan or skillet.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over turkey.
  4. Simmer, covered, until tender – about 1 ½ hours. Stir and baste turkey thighs occasionally.
