4 Canadian Turkey Wings (1 kg /2 lbs.), split, fat trimmed and tips removed
12 cups (3 litres) Water
Marinade:
1 cup (250 mL) Hoisin Sauce
4 Tbsp (50 mL) Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp (45 mL) Water
3 Tbsp (45 mL) Honey
4 Tbsp (60 mL) grated fresh Ginger
3 cloves Garlic, minced
Directions
Boil wings in water for 30 minutes then remove from heat and set aside.
Place all marinade ingredients in a heavy re-sealable bag. Place cooked turkey wings in the bag and massage until sauce has evenly coated wings. Refrigerate overnight or no less than 4 hours.
Heat barbeque to 400ºF (200ºC).
Spray grill with cooking spray and grill wings until golden and crisp – approximately 20 minutes.
